AUM is a member of the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME).

PRME is a United Nations-supported initiative that comprises over 850 leading business and management schools across 95 countries around the world that are committed to building a more sustainable future by implementing the six principles and supporting the achievement of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The College of Business Administration at the American University of the Middle East (AUM-CBA) and HEC Montréal have signed a strategic cooperation at the level of the MBA program. Effective as of Fall 2021, admitted students will have the opportunity to earn two Graduate Degrees from both universities upon completing their MBA studies: The Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from AUM, Kuwait and the Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (GDBA) from HEC Montréal, Canada.

This unique program will reinforce the skills acquired by MBA students while being exposed to the expertise of faculty members from both AUM and HEC Montréal, within the current MBA track. Students will deepen their knowledge in various multidisciplinary fields of interest such as entrepreneurship, strategic management, and operations management.

Graduates of this program will be also considered as Alumni of HEC Montréal. It is worth noting that HEC Montréal is the first established school of management in Canada, founded in 1907. HEC Montréal is one of the rare business schools worldwide to hold the three most prestigious international accreditations (AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA), known as one of the top five business schools in Canada and among the top 100 in the world according to prestigious international rankings.

This innovative collaboration is an opportunity for students pursuing an MBA degree at AUM in Kuwait to enhance their careers through the offerings of two world-class institutions simultaneously. The agreement adds an international perspective to the MBA program at AUM and provides students with an exceptional learning experience allowing them to easily access the global job market and to excel in a dynamic local and global business environment.
